Rosacea is a skin condition that causes small pimple-like bumps on the skin, and gives the skin a flushed, reddish, rosy appearance. It is chronic (meaning it cannot be cured) and most often affects adults. As rosacea gets worse, the visibility of its symptoms increase, and it becomes more uncomfortable for the sufferer.
