Acne is a type of skin disorder, affecting millions round the world, the exact cause of which are not known, but can be attributed to several factors. The remedies that appear below may take 2 to 4 weeks for desired results, but they are functional and easy to follow: - Apply diluted white vinegar on your face and especially the affected areas. Wait for about 10 minutes before rinsing with cool water. The rationale behind this remedy is that juice of any citrus fruit including lemon works as a natural exfoliate and cleans the blocked pores of the skin. So in the white vinegar, add a few drops of lemon juice and this can be one of the most natural pore cleansers for the face. Let it be on your face for about 10 minutes during which time you might a slight itching, taut or tingling sensation. But this is natural and nothing to worry. Rinse your face with cold water. For those of you who feel the burning sensation unbearable you might add some water to it and make the solution dilute.
- Strange as it may sound, drinking plenty of water actually helps an acne situation. Water helps in natural cleansing of various accumulated toxins in the body and is a good carrier of nutrients through out the body.
- Ensure that your body is never short of vitamins and minerals. If necessary, take a supplement, which may cover up any shortage. Oregon grape is considered to help you with the improvement of immune system, which combats the bacteria that cause acne.
- Dandelion, Burdock or red clover are great liver cleansers and it keeps the liver functionally effective by removing any toxic overload.
- Vitamin A, taken in the right quantity is considered to have a positive effect on acne treatment. But your physician can only determine the right dose.
